Eva Lopez was born in Lima, Peru. She studied at the National School of Bellas Artes in Lima, where she is currently working as a watercolor teacher. She has also been a teacher at the National Art School in San Pedro de Cajas in Junin, Peru from 1997 to 2001, and was granted an award for her work by the city of San Pedro de Cajas. She was also given awards for drawing by the National Art School in Lima, for Peruvian landscapes by the British Counsel in 1996, and for watercolors by the Michell & CIA in 2001. She has had several exhibitions around the country and in Spain. Lopez was invited to participate at the International Children's Heart Foundation exhibition in Memphis in 1999. In addition, she has participated in more than 50 exhibitions around the world, including those at the Italian Art Museum and the National Musem in Lima, Peru.
