Stojan Milanov was born in the Vojvodina region of Yugoslavia in 1963. His artistic family is of Russian heritage, with his grandfather being the renowned sculptor, Sergei. With his artistic sensibilities, Stojan attended and graduated from Belgrade’s Academy of Fine Art.

Milanov paints a variety of subjects, including landscapes, figuratives, and florals. His works are highly pleasing to the eye, displaying skilled use of color harmonies, confident brushwork, and mastery of composition.
