PARK

M.S. Park was born August 11, 1951 in Eum-Sung, Chung-Buk, Korea. Ironically it was not until age 26 that he started developing his artistic skills. Experimenting with pencil sketching and oil painting, he effortlessly created luscious landscapes, serene seascapes, and awe-inspiring garden scenes.

By 1977 his natural talent and exquisite use of natural lighting was undeniable, and he began formal training at the I.A.D. Company. During this period, he perfected his oil painting techniques and became instantly successful with his enchantingly peaceful woodland scenes, which promote contemplation. Park’s paintings encourage the viewer to celebrate the beauty of Mother Nature’s vibrant colors and deep textures. Indeed, there exists an element of spirituality and sacredness in his tranquil atmospheres.

M.S. Park is a very quiet and introverted soul, preferring to read books and listen to music in his off-hours. However, his undying love for painting and astounding talent has made him so successful in both the United States and Korea, that he has little time for relaxation.

Today, he travels the globe exhibiting his works. Park is a member if the Korea Art Association and has exhibited at the Korea Artists Exhibition in Seoul, and the Inchon Cultural Center. While exhibiting all over the United States, he frequently sketches dynamic American landscapes that will later become captured on canvas.

Cosmopolitan Fine Arts is proud to represent the work of M.S. Park.
