Jesus Navarro Rodriguez was born on August 31, 1952 in Jerez De La Frontera, Spain.

In 1964 he studied painting and sculpting at the school of arts and craft of Jerez. He studied with master Antonia Padilla. At the same time he worked at the studio of painter Ramirez Toro. From both he learned the entire classic painting technique.

In 1971 Jesus moved to Barcelona, Spain where he began a period of self-taught formation. He unifies the techniques learned by using contemporary procedures.



The following is a timeline of Navarro's studies , exhibitions, and achievments:

1974 - First group shows at the Savings Bank of Zamora.

1977 -Exhibited in Castelldefells in Barcelona along with other painters and government In Castelldefells. He founded the art school "Tres En Raya".

1981-1982 Exhibited in Barcelona.

1983 Group shows in Jerez de la Frontera.

1984-1990 Worked for the Mexican and Venezuelan art markets. Also has works in auction at the Gallery Canuda, Barcelona.

1991 Exhibited at Jorge Ontiveros Contemporary Art, Madrid.

1992 Paintings auctioned at gallery Duran in Madrid and Barcelona. Participates in the Art Santander Markets.

1994 Exhibited at Goncha Lopez. Group show in Madrid Show at Gallery An Drox. Show at Verd y Verd in Barcelona.

1995 Exhibited at Elizabeth Nilsson. Show at Nerd y vero.

1996 Exhibited at the museum of contemporary art in Miami, Florida. Exhibited at Gallery San Vincente in Valencia, Spain.

1997 Exhibited at the Florida Park museum in Miami, Florida.
