BERGER

Berger was born in Hodmeszovasarhely/Theiss in Hungary in 1947. Having passed the basic schools, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest under Professor Barcasay (1960-1965), who discovered and furthered the young artist’s interest in baroque painting.

Berger soon participated in exhibitions, the most important of which were those at the Young Artists in Budapest in 1968 and at the Eotvos, also in Budapest, in 1970.

He paints with a flawless technique and his compositions are often mistaken as works of an older artist with great experience because of the maturity of expression.
