1933-2001
Andre Andreoli was born a naturalized U.S. citizen in Holland in 1933, where his father was the president of an American company.
A self-taught artist, Andreoli studied by visiting museums to learn the way of the masters. The originality and inventiveness of the 19th century masters was not wasted on Andreoli who is considered to be their 20th century heir. His artistic talent can be traced to a forefather, Maestro Giorgio Andreoli of Gubbio, who in the 15th century glorified Italy with his unsurpassed ceramic art which is still displayed in many world famous museums.
The influence of the artist’s Italian background and his stay in Holland is clearly visible in his Italian facades and Dutch landscapes. A profoundly spiritual person, Andreoli believed that his talent was God-given, and he was convinced that it was given to him so that he might help others. With the proceeds of his artwork, he helps the needy and his church in Northern California.
According to a renowned art expert and vice president of the most prominent international auction house, Andreoli’s paintings show incomparable skill and technical ability, and are in the very best tradition of the 19th Century Dutch masters.
Andreoli’s works are recognized by noteworthy international art critics as superbly gifted works and are displayed in many prominent private collections throughout the world.
Cosmopolitan Fine Arts is proud to present the art of Andre’ Andreoli.
