ZAPATA Biography |

Andres Zapata was born in the state of Veracruz, Mexico, in 1935. At an early age he moved to Mexico City where he studied architecture and art. Later on, he moved to San Diego.
Zapata is a member of the La Jolla Art Association, the San Diego Art Institute, and the Latin American Arts Committee of the San Diego Museum of Art. His work has been shown in several group exhibitions in the United States and Mexico. |
