GAYE Biography

A painter since childhood, Andrea Gaye has exhibited extensively in America, in England (Brighton and London) and France (Paris). Art education includes the Brighton School of Art, a year of independent study in Paris, and twelve years as Assistant to the renowned Spanish artist/teacher Sebastian Capella. Workshops include John Asaro, Ned Mueller, Ovanes Berberian, Herb Olds and Carolyn Anderson.

Her figurative work includes casual portraits of children at play, nude studies, and colorful scenes of daily life in the countries in Latin America and Europe.
