DeMORE Biography

Louise DeMore was born in Iowa in 1939. Louise DeMore has always been fascinated with the effects of the light and color. She focuses on portraying the “on site” realism of a setting by capturing the coloring of nature’s light and the romance of the moment trough her impressionistic style.

She has studied at the University of California, in Los Angeles. A winner of over 70 awards, she is a member of numerous professional associations including the Knickerbockers Artists of New York and the Plein Air Painters of America.
